Aspiring creative Noah struggles to find his own self-worth and passion among his gifted family and peers.

Noah Stokes, the main character, is a young 18-year-old Black American man juggling with the fear of confronting the 10-year anniversary of his mother’s passing, along with his 30-year-old brother Deon Stokes. To honor her, the brothers agreed to each record video grief journals addressed to her, expressing their love for her, and what they’ve accomplished and will continue to accomplish since her death. Noah doesn’t feel like he’s amounted to much in the past 10 years, and is desperate to succeed in just one thing he feels he’s worthy to tell his mother.
